1. Active accounts
While your account is active, we keep your account data, journal entries, goals, habits, AI memory and accountability reports so the service can give you continuity over time.
2. Inactive accounts
If you have not signed in for 24 consecutive months, we may treat your account as inactive. We will email you at least 30 days before any deletion to give you the chance to keep your account open or export your data.
3. Deletion on request
When you request deletion (in-app or by emailing hello@onepercentedgeai.com) we will erase or fully anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep specific records to comply with the law.
4. Backups
Deleted data may remain in encrypted rolling backups for up to 35 days before it is overwritten.
5. Legal and tax records
Billing, invoicing and tax records are retained for 7 years to meet HMRC requirements.
6. Server and security logs
Operational logs are retained for 30–90 days for security, debugging and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Aggregate analytics
Aggregated and anonymised statistics that do not identify you may be retained indefinitely.
