1. The programme
One Percent Edge AI runs an affiliate programme for its product 1% Better, a subscription service priced at £9.99 per month. Approved affiliates earn recurring commission on paying subscribers they refer.
2. Commission
- Standard commission: 30% recurring commission on the monthly subscription fee, for as long as the referred customer remains an active paying subscriber.
- Founding Partner commission: 40% recurring commission for the first 20 approved affiliates, applied for the lifetime of each referred subscription, subject to the rules below.
- Customer discount: Customers who sign up through your unique referral link receive 15% off their first 3 months, applied automatically at checkout. Affiliate commission during the discount period is calculated on the discounted amount actually paid, and returns to the full subscription fee from month 4 onwards.
- Commission is calculated on the net amount received by One Percent Edge AI after payment-processor fees, taxes and refunds.
3. Payouts
- Commission is paid monthly, on the 1st day of each calendar month, for cleared earnings from the previous month.
- Minimum payout threshold: £25. Balances below £25 roll forward to the following month and accumulate until the threshold is met.
- Payouts are made in GBP via the method you nominate in your affiliate dashboard.
- You are responsible for any income tax, National Insurance and (where applicable) VAT on commissions you receive.
4. Affiliate rights
As an approved affiliate you will receive:
- One or more unique referral links.
- Access to a referral tracking dashboard.
- Access to commission reports.
- Monthly earnings reports by email.
5. Commission rules
- Commission applies only to active, paying subscribers acquired through your unique referral link.
- Commission stops automatically when a referred subscriber cancels, pauses or fails to pay.
- Referred customers must remain subscribed for at least 30 days before commission becomes payable.
- Refunded subscriptions generate no commission. Any commission already accrued on a refunded payment will be reversed.
- Chargebacks and payments later identified as fraudulent remove the associated commission and may be deducted from future payouts.
- Where a customer cancels and later re-subscribes through a different affiliate's link, the most recent attributable referral applies, subject to our tracking rules.
6. Fraud prevention and prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination, forfeiture of unpaid commissions and legal action:
- Self-referrals or referrals from accounts you control.
- Creating fake accounts, fake testimonials or fake reviews.
- Incentivised signups (cashback, prize draws, refunds in exchange for signup) without our prior written approval.
- Misleading, deceptive or unsubstantiated advertising claims about 1% Better.
- Spam — including unsolicited email, SMS, DMs, forum spam or unauthorised paid placements.
- Brand impersonation — bidding on our brand terms, registering confusingly similar domains, social handles or app names, or implying you are One Percent Edge AI.
- Cookie stuffing, click fraud, traffic laundering or any tampering with our tracking.
- Promotion in any context that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law (including the CAP Code and ASA rules in the UK).
7. Disclosure
You must clearly and prominently disclose your affiliate relationship with One Percent Edge AI wherever you promote 1% Better, in line with ASA / CAP Code and CMA guidance (for example, using "#ad" or a clear written disclosure).
8. Intellectual property
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the "One Percent Edge AI" and "1% Better" names and approved marketing assets solely to promote the product in accordance with this agreement. You may not modify our marks or use them in any misleading way.
9. Term and termination
- This agreement starts when your application is approved and continues until terminated.
- Either party may terminate for convenience on 30 days' notice.
- One Percent Edge AI may suspend or terminate your affiliate account immediately for fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, spam, breach of these terms, breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, or breach of applicable law.
- On termination, your referral links are disabled and the licence in section 8 ends.
- Unpaid commissions legitimately earned before termination will still be paid where legally required, subject to clawback for refunds, chargebacks and fraud.
10. Independent contractor
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, employment, agency or joint venture between you and One Percent Edge AI. You have no authority to bind us.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- One Percent Edge AI is not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or loss of goodwill.
- Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period will not exceed the total commission paid to you in that period.
12. Changes
We may update commission rates, payout terms and these rules. Material changes will be notified by email or in the affiliate dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued participation after the effective date means you accept the changes.
13. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
